Call for Proposals in the Philippines

The Women’s Peace & Humanitarian Fund is excited to announce its latest Call for Proposals to enhance the institutional capacity and sustain the efforts of local women’s organizations in the Philippines.

WPHF seeks to fund qualifying national, regional or international NGOs (I/NGOs) with experience working with local and grassroots CSOs in the Philippines — including non-registered and youth organizations — to help enhance their institutional capacity and sustain their work on WPS-HA across the country. Successful I/NGO applicants must have a proven track record working on women’s rights, feminist and human rights-based principles, and demonstrated experience in institutional capacity building and knowledge on registration processes.

Specifically, selected I/NGO grantees will:

  1. Support non-registered women’s rights organizations in the preparation for and registration process as legal entities to continue their work in WPS-HA.
  2. Provide technical training and support on proposal writing and resource mobilization strategies to local women’s rights organizations through both in-person workshops, meetings and virtual sessions.
  3. Provide technical training on financial management, strategic planning and development of anticorruption plans and prevention of sexual harassment and abuse policies and mechanisms.

Grants/project proposals should not exceed $250,000 USD

Applications are accepted in English and should be emailed to RIZA.TORRADO@UNWOMEN.ORG with the following subject line: WPHF-I/NGO CFP
