In response to rapidly evolving crises and conflicts, the United Nations Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) is activating emergency funding appeals at the national, regional and global level to mobilize urgent support for women and their local organizations at the forefront of humanitarian response, peacebuilding, and recovery.
This rapid and flexible fast-track mechanism accelerates the speed in which funds are channeled to local women’s civil society organizations in situations of acute crisis, ensuring they can implement urgent interventions quickly and responding to their urgent needs on the front lines.
