The Women’s Peace & Humanitarian Fund is excited to announce its third Call for Proposals in Colombia to increase representation and leadership of women in formal and informal peace processes and implementation of peace agreements.
WPHF seeks to fund qualifying local organizations and projects led by and working alongside women and girls in Colombia that are high impact, innovative and contribute to the following objectives:
- increase representation and leadership of women in formal and informal peace processes and the implementation of peace agreements;
- reinforce the institutional capacity of civil society organizations working on women peace and security.
This Call for Proposals makes available financing for local civil society organizations in Colombia through two primary funding streams:
- Funding Stream 1: Institutional funding from 2,500 USD to 30,000 USD
To provide institutional financing to local civil society organizations working on peace processes and/or peace agreements, aiming to reinforce their organizations’ institutional capacity (aligned with WPHF impact area 1).
- Funding Stream 2: Programmatic funding from 100,000 USD to 150,000 USD
To finance programmatic activities by civil society organizations that contribute to increased representation and leadership of women in formal and informal peace processes and/or implementation of peace agreements (aligned with WPHF impact area 4).
