Women have a right to meaningful participation, yet they remain significantly underrepresented in peace processes worldwide.
The Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund is supporting women peacebuilders and women’s civil society organizations to effectively influence and participate in peace processes through its new Rapid Response Window (RRW) on Women’s Participation in Peace Processes and the Implementation of Peace Agreements.
We are mobilizing support to rapidly channel urgently-needed financing for strategic, short-term services and civil society-led initiatives to enhance women’s influence and meaningful participation in the various stages of peace processes.
