This call for Proposals in now closed
The Women’s Peace & Humanitarian Fund is excited to announce the launch of its latest call for proposals in Haiti, supporting civil society to strengthen the participation and leadership of Haitian women and girls in the response to the August 2021 earthquake crisis, protect their security and mental health, and enhance their socio-economic recovery and political participation.
WPHF seeks to fund qualifying local women’s rights and women-led organizations working across the departments of Les Nippes, Le Sud, and La Grande-Anse through the following funding streams:
- Funding Stream 1: Institutional funding from 2,500 USD to 30,000 USD
Provides institutional funding for the recovery and institutional capacity building of civil society organizations working to implement Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) and Humanitarian Action commitments, which have been affected by the August 14, 2021 earthquake.
- Funding Stream 2: Programmatic funding from 30,000 USD to 100,000 USD
Provides programmatic financing supporting projects led by and working alongside women and girls that are high-impact, innovative, and contribute directly to the human rights protection of women and girls. Projects should fall under one of the following WPHF impact areas: humanitarian, protection, recovery and political participation.
PLEASE NOTE: AN ORGANIZATION CAN APPLY TO EITHER ONE OR BOTH FUNDING STREAMS. APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED IN FRENCH.
