The Women’s Peace & Humanitarian Fund has launched its second call for proposal in Uganda. Apply for new funding opportunities to support your local civil-society organization.
WPHF seeks to fund qualifying projects in Uganda that are high impact, innovative, and contribute directly to the following objectives:
- Enhancing women’s meaningful participation in conflict prevention, including through promoting favorable attitudes of parties to conflict & communities towards women’s participation in conflict prevention, increasing the capacity of local women’s organizations to identify and respond to threats by establishing networks, early-warning systems and mechanisms that offer opportunities for dialogue and peaceful engagement, and connecting women’s conflict prevention mechanisms to national and international reporting and response systems.
