Call for Interest for Civil Society Members

WPHF Global Steering Committee (2027–2029)

Civil society members of the Global Steering Committee (GSC) of the United Nations Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) are seeking two international or regional civil society organizations to join the committee for the following three-year term 2027–2029.

Please read the Call for Interest closely before applying and consider the following:

  • This is a voluntary, unpaid role. There is no salary, fee, or honorarium
  • The role involves a significant commitment over the three-year term, including quarterly working-level meetings, one annual high-level meeting, reviewing documentation and preparing for funding allocation decisions, consulting with other civil society organizations, and representing WPHF at relevant events. The estimated time commitment is 3–5 hours per month, with additional time required during funding allocation periods.
  • Selected organizations cannot apply for WPHF funding during their term
  • The working language is English

We especially encourage applications from:

  • Organizations based in and led from global majority regions. We especially encourage applications from organizations with strong presence and operational footprint in Africa, Asia, Oceania, and Latin America.
  • Youth-led, Indigenous-led, refugee-led, disability-led, and LGBTIQ+ organizations
  • Organizations working on Women, Peace and Security, humanitarian response, or nexus programming
