The Women’s Peace & Humanitarian Fund has launched a Regional Call for Proposals in Ukraine and Moldova to support civil society organizations working to promote the socio-economic recovery, leadership and political participation of forcibly displaced women and girls in crisis and humanitarian contexts.
WPHF seeks to fund qualifying local organizations in Ukraine and Moldova through the following funding streams:
- Programmatic funding from 30,000 USD to 350,000 USD
To finance programmatic activities of CSOs aimed at improving the socio-economic recovery and political participation of women and girls in peacebuilding contexts (in line with WPHF impact area 6).
- Institutional funding from 5,000 USD to 30,000 USD
To reinforce the institutional capacity of local CSOs that i) have a specific focus on women and girls in forced displacement in their mission; ii) have project activities led by forcibly displaced women and girls; and iii) have women and girls in forced displacement as staff members (in line with WPHF impact area 1).
This Call for Proposals is linked to the Action Network on Forced Displacement – Women as Agents of Change led by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Grantees will be invited to participate in related activities of the Action Network.
PLEASE NOTE: An organization can only apply one time for programmatic funding AND/OR one time for institutional funding. Organizations who apply for both streams need to submit two SEPARATE applications packages based on the requirements and related templates of each stream.
