Event Overview
The world stands at a critical crossroads marked by escalating conflict, democratic backsliding, shrinking civic space, and a growing mistrust in multilateralism. As these pressures intensify, young people are increasingly questioning whether peace is still possible and whether global leaders are doing enough to secure their futures.
The Peace Is All of Us Summits are a cornerstone of the Peace Is flagship campaign, a global effort to reignite belief in peace and mobilize action in support of the women, youth, and communities who are building it every day.
Following the powerful inaugural summit in London on 17 September 2025, the Peace Is Series traveled to New York during the sidelines of UNGA80, gathering global advocates and young changemakers to spotlight feminist solutions to crisis. The movement then expanded to the African continent, convening in Johannesburg and Cape Town on the sidelines of the G20 Summit to elevate the voices of women peacebuilders and amplify calls for inclusive, people-centered peace.
Now, the Peace Is All of Us Summit Series arrives on Jeju Island, designated the “Island of Peace” by the South Korean government over two decades ago, for a dedicated Global Youth Leadership Forum that will convene emerging youth leaders and activists from across South Korea’s Global Education Hub.
At its heart, this Jeju edition will take the form of an intergenerational dialogue paired with a dynamic Youth Solutions Lab: a space where students, UN leaders, feminist organizers, youth peacebuilders, and cultural voices will co-create concrete pathways toward peace, climate resilience, and cultural preservation.
Peace is not a passive ideal. It is a daily practice and an act of courage, imagination, and solidarity — and young people are at the forefront of shaping what peace must look like for the decades ahead.
This summit will explore the central question: What does it take for young leaders to convert hope into action?
Together, participants will design bold ideas across three pillars:
- Women & Peace
- Environment & Climate
- Culture & Heritage
Culminating in a collective Youth Action Pact to carry their solutions forward.
