The United Nations Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) has launched a Call for Proposals in Chad to support civil society organizations (CSOs) to implement projects focusing on ensuring an enabling environment for Women, Peace and Security (WPS) and the protection of women and girls, as well as supporting local women and young women’s rights organizations through institutional funding.
WPHF seeks to fund qualifying local organizations in Chad through the following funding streams:
- Programmatic funding from 30,000 USD to 200,000 USD
To finance programmatic activities of CSOs aimed at (i) Enhanced role of civil society organizations in advocating for and ensuring accountability on WPS commitments (in line with WPHF impact area 1) and ii) Enhanced protection, safety, security and mental health of women and girls (in line with WPHF impact area 5).
- Institutional funding from 2,500 USD to 30,000 USD
To reinforce the institutional capacity of women’s rights and women-led organizations working on the implementation of the Women, Peace and Security Agenda in Chad to ensure they are able to sustain themselves and to improve their impact.
PLEASE NOTE: AN ORGANIZATION CAN ONLY APPLY ONE TIME FOR PROGRAMMATIC FUNDING AND/OR ONE TIME FOR INSTITUTIONAL FUNDING. ORGANIZATIONS WHO APPLY FOR BOTH STREAMS NEED TO SUBMIT TWO SEPARATE APPLICATIONS PACKAGES BASED ON THE REQUIREMENTS AND RELATED TEMPLATES OF EACH STREAM.
